HOW TO BUILD A DIY COFFEE CART...DESIGNS...PLANS. VIDEO 1

How do I set up a coffee cart?

Here I am working on a video series for a design of a DIY coffee cart plans, in which I plan to reduce the cost to the consumer considerably.

This video was powered by a Columbian (Med)/Ethiopian (Dark) Blend. Pourover at 1:15 ratio.

When I look into coffee carts for sale, the metal ones go for over $4,000. And that does not include any equipment! So, I’m hoping to teach people how to build their own outdoor/indoor coffee carts and be able to fit it out for under $4k.

Vision: Disrupt the status quo of coffee trucking and carting by providing DIY info at the beginners level to get people started without breaking the wallet. I believe in the American Dream. Don't let fear stop you from starting. You may not always be able to get everything right away. That's okay. But you can get started. Be smart. Plan. Do your research. Talk with the experts. But ultimately, take your first step. Fix your issues as they come. Document. Learn. Stay humble. Stay hungry

In this video, I am using this table to build my coffee cart. The top shelf is 24 inches, but the bottom shelf is only 16 inches. So I have to add some extra wood to the bottom.

Here is another good table (https://amzn.to/2VqA3Ow) I eyeballed when I did my research. This table would give me a little more room for equipment. Some of the downsides…. how wide it is. At 30 inches, you’re going to fit through most doors that are ADA compliant, however, just judging from my time as paramedic, you may have hard time in elevators (ambulance gurneys are regulated at 24 inches and it got tight sometimes). But honestly, I can count on one hand how many times I had to use an elevator for one of my coffee carts...so the point might be moot….

So, I eyeball these workbenches quite a bit as well. They’re sturdy, already put together and that bottom shelf matches the top. However, they were heavy (because of the wood and the steel). And they cost almost x3 as much… But what you lose in money, you gain in time. Putting this thing together looks super simple. As it stands, when I do this again, I’ll most likely work with this one... Borroughs Adjustable Height Work Bench with Solid Hardwood Top and Bottom Shelf, 30 x 72 inches https://amzn.to/32vrVOa

This is a good drill set. I like that it has 2 batteries so if it’s been a long day work, I don’t run out of juice.

This is the step up from the miter saw I currently have. It’s a little pricier but it has a laser. The one I have now does not and I regret it
